The plight of a military officer threatened to kill London Tamils

Brigadier Priyanka Fernando, who worked as a security adviser at the British High Commission Office, is returning to the country.
Priyanka returns to the request of the Sri Lankan government.
He had to face massive controversy by signaling that he would cut the neck of the Tamils in front of the British Embassy on Independence Day of Sri Lanka.
President Maithripala Sirisena blocked it, although his service was suspended immediately.
British MPs Jean Ryan, Simon McDonough and Paul Schulie blamed the military officer for the death threat.
However, Defense Secretary Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake said that the military officer did not do anything wrong.
The incident was partially curtailed and last week was again demonstrated in front of the British Embassy against Brigadier Priyanka Fernando. A complaint was lodged at the Commonwealth Office of the UK.
Brigadier Priyanka has been invited to Sri Lanka after Tamils protest. The reason for his resignation is the mystery.
