Kavya Madhavan files for divorce at Ernakulam court
The actress married the Kuwait-based banker Nischal Chandran in February 2009 in a grand wedding ceremony for which almost the entire Malayalam film industry turned up.
Soon after the much-hyped wedding, the actress had serious difference of opinion with Nischal and his family, following which she left her husband and came back to India. She then consulted a leading lawyer, and filed for divorce.
Like all divorced actresses, Kavya is now backed to the pavilion, acting in movies. While her recent movie ‘Pappi Appacha’ starring Dileep has become a hit, she has also bagged the big project ‘Christian Brothers’ which has Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar and Dileep in the lead roles.
