Amy Jackson Replaces Trisha in Hindi Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya

Trisha’s graph in Bollywood is on downward swing.

Trisha’s dream of making it big in Bollywood shattered with the release of her debut film ‘Khatta Meetha’. This movie released on July 23rd, not only bombed at the box office but also brought Trisha lot of criticism.

Her only hope to make it in Bollywood was resting on Gautham Menon who offered her the role of ‘Jessie’ in the Hindi remake of his classic ‘Vinnathandi Varuvaya’. But now the actress has more reasons to worry these days.

The latest buzz says that Trisha has been unexpectedly dropped and ‘Madrasapattinam’ beauty Amy Jackson has been chosen to play the ‘Jessie’ role in Hindi.

Reports were suggesting that Gautham who had plans of directing Ajith, (before Ajith changed plans to act in the project Mankatha directed by Venkat Prabhu), had offered the same script to Surya again, who is his lucky charm and Amy Jackson would be paired opposite Surya in that film.

But what we hear now is Amy Jackson will play ‘Jessie’ in the Hindi remake of Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, opposite Prateik Babbar, son of yesteryear popular Bollywood hero Raj Babbar.

Double Grammy and Oscar-winner A R Rahman would be scoring the music this movie with Anthony handling the editing, art department with Rajeevan and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa.
